BMW 3/15 PS DA 4 Sports two-seater

The final generation of the BMW 3/15 PS, the successor to the Dixi, appeared in January 1931. This was the DA 4 (DA = "Deutsche Ausführung"), again with a modified body providing more interior space. The technical specification remained largely unchanged, except for the swing axle that took the place of the previous beam axle. The new model was also without the small baggage compartment at the rear. A total of 3,480 cars were built of the DA4 models as an open-top two-seater, tourer, saloon and coupé.
