BMW 3/15 PS DA 2 Sunroof-sedan

The BMW 3/15 PS DA 2 (DA= "Deutsche Ausführung") was the first car manufactured in Eisenach to carry the BMW badge. Like its predecessor, the Dixi 3/15 PS DA 1, it was based on the British Austin Seven baby car, which was also built in various forms in France, the USA and Japan. BMW improved the design in a number of ways, notably by installing four-wheel brakes and a more spacious body and giving it a higher quality interior. This first BMW car remained in production until 1931, with six body styles on offer.
