BMW F 76

In autumn 1932, a BMW threewheeler delivery van with cardan drive and blower-cooled 200 cc 6 hp engine was launched as the Type F 76. This was fitted with a two-seater driver's cab, which could be fully enclosed on request, and a high payload capacity of 650 kg. The vehicle was steered using a proper automobile steering wheel and the rear wheel was mounted in a sprung swinging arm. The load-bearing platform of the BMW threewheeler van could be supplied with an open platform, a closed van body or a wide payload area with tarpaulin and frame. Although the two versions were built to a very high level of quality, they failed to enjoy the level of success anticipated.
