BMW 2500 (E3)

The BMW 2500 was the first vehicle in the model series "Grand Sedans" ("Große Limousinen") (E3), which customers were able to purchase from August 1968. This was the entry-level model for the "Grand Sedans" ("Große Limousinen") powered by an engine with a displacement of 2.5 litres and generating 150 hp. The price of the cheapest version was just shy of DM 16,000. The interior and the bodywork were styled in accordance with the latest safety standards and even the basic equipment was very exclusive. The BMW 2500 was the most popular car in the model series and it was consistently included in the product range until the series was discontinued in 1977.
