The new Type BMW 3/20 PS developed by BMW in Munich was already on the market in 1932. The last development stage of the 3/20 PS, designated with the letters AM 4 ("Ausführung München" - Munich Model) now had a new four-speed gearbox. This version could also be ordered in different body versions and was supplied until the spring of 1934.
