BMW F 650 RR PARIS-DAKAR.
After more than ten years, BMW makes a comeback in the 'Dakar' with a factory team. Unlike the 1980s, the company now sends single-cylinder models based on the F 650 street enduro into the race. In the very first year of participating, Richard Sainct wins for BMW in 1999, and he also reaches the finish line first in 2000. At the beginning of the new millennium, three more BMW enduros in second to fourth places complete the BMW triumph in the desert sand.
